with special guests Deep Beep + Chatters
Lyric's Underground (Maylands, WA)
Saturday, 17 October 2026 7:30 pm
New five-piece group (Artificial) Nights are launching their highly anticipated debut single My Planet, at Lyrics Underground in Maylands on Saturday 17 October. With the epic sounds of Deep Beep and the precocious Chatters along to help with take-off – this is an evening of local music not to be missed.
Forged from the distinguished archives of Perth’s 2000s music golden era (including members of The Tigers, Electric Limousine and Druid Lee Roth), (Artificial) Nights have refined their distinct sound: blending gothic drive and post-punk atmosphere. They recently made their long-awaited return to the local stage with a sold-out show in June.
As promised, (A)N have gone to work in the studio, and are ready to take the first step with their debut single My Planet – presenting darkness with sharp edges and a gothic groove.
Speaking on the announcement of their new release, a band rep stated “We’ve always felt our sound was international in scope, it just happens that the international market is currently concentrated between Maylands and Fremantle.”
Deep Beep is a band of special pedigree, including members from past perthonalities like the Tucker Bs, Stick Figures and Umpire. Fresh off the release of their latest album Soft Honk, anyone who has listened to and watched Deep Beep in 2026 knows they are scaling new heights of epic proportions and have become must watch. Let them take you up the mountain.
Chatters is one of Perth’s leading alternative pop and hip-hop artists, having built a reputation for his high-energy, immersive live shows. He completed his first national tour in March 2026 and recent single O.M.G was recognised in the Top 20 of the WAM Song of the Year Awards – he’s ready to bring it home in Maylands.
