BLUE ON BLACK
Mesmerizing. Captivating. Dynamic. Exceptional.
With a combined music history traversing multiple decades, these well known Perth players bring you electrifying shades of classic and contemporary blues rock.
Graham Greene (local guitar legend: Ice Tiger, Flash Harry, Graham Greene Band) & WA's Donna G are no strangers to the WA music scene.
In 2023, the Guitar Gods West Coast family, along with long time band mates, bass aficionado Jim Awram and drum royalty Shane Brady, reformed their contemporary blues band, Blue on Black.
Together in 2024, the four pay homage to some of the dynamic arrangements produced by legendary showman Joe Bonamassa covering blues and blues rock songs and classics from his 2 x 'Tour de Force: Live In London' albums – both 'Hammersmith Apollo' & 'The Borderline' as well as material from Joe’s 'Beacon Theatre (Live From New York)', among others, in a show delivered as only these seasoned naturals can.
Seated, standing, or dancing, come along and enjoy this warm group of accomplished players as they take you on a journey with Joe; enjoy some reworked classics and even indulge in a taste of the occasional new Blue On Black original.
